The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) adopted resolution No. 28 dated April 11, 2024 “On amending the resolution of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus dated May 30, 2023 No. 37,” according to which tariffs for the transportation of goods by rail were adjusted.
On average, tariffs increased by 8%. The changes affected such activities as rail freight transportation in Belarus (with the exception of transportation of goods in transit through the territory of the EAEU countries), as well as work (services) related to such transportation in intra-republican and international traffic.
Tariff increase is a planned procedure associated with annual indexation. The established tariffs are valid only for business entities and only for rail freight transportation
The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
