On January 1, 2024, a special area for waiting for an electronic queue began operating near the "Kozlovichi" border checkpoint. The site is located on the territory of the "Brest-Beltamozhservice-2" transport and logistics center and in the "Severnaya" parking lot.
At the moment, the waiting area can accommodate 140 cars, and the number of parking spaces will be increased in the future. There are electronic boards here that show the movement of the queue, the store and sanitary areas. For security, there is video surveillance 24/7.
This is already the 9th checkpoint in the Republic of Belarus where such a project is being implemented.
Previously, the system was implemented in the following points:
- Brest (RUE "Beltamozhservice") - from 09/01/2016.
- Kotlovka (LLC "SNT-invest") - from 11/24/2017.
- Grigorovshchina (LLC "Belneftegroup") - from 01/25/2018.
- Urbany (LLC "VV OIL-plus") - from 05/30/2019.
- Bruzgi (LLC "SIRIUSKARGO") – from 06/01/2020.
- Kamenny Log (RUE "Beltamozhservice") – from 05/14/2021.
- Benyakoni (RUE "Beltamozhservice") – from 10/20/2021.
- Berestovitsa (RUE "Beltamozhservice") – from 04/08/2022.
The system significantly simplifies the procedure for cars crossing the border and creates more comfortable conditions for drivers waiting in line at the border.
