On January 19, 2023, the Ministry of Transport adopted Decree No. 3 “On permits for the passage of motor vehicles of foreign states through the territory of the Republic of Belarus”.
The following forms of permissions are approved:
- for international transportation of goods by road, road transport "Turkey (type A)", "Turkey (type B)", "Turkey (type C)";
- for multiple international transportation of goods by road "Germany", "Netherlands", "France";
- for non-scheduled international bus transportation of passengers.
In addition, the Instruction on the procedure for issuing and applying permits for the passage of foreign vehicles through the territory of the Republic of Belarus has been drawn up
Rules for issuing permits for the carriage of goods and passengers
Documents should be filled in:
1) by hand and/or by printing;
2) with imprints of seals, stamps;
3) using inks and/or paints that cannot be removed.
Permission rules
- This permit allows foreign carriers to carry out only international road transport and does not give the right to transport within the country.
- It is forbidden to transfer permission to third parties.
- The authorization document must be kept in the vehicle and presented at the first request of authorized persons.
The Decree was adopted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated August 14, 2007 No. 278-Z "On Road Transport and Road Transportation" and entered into force after its official publication.
