From January 1, 2023, the new requirement of the Mobility Package regarding the operating base will come into force.
What does the operating base include?
- parking for vehicles;
- area for loading, unloading, cargo consolidation;
- vehicle maintenance territory.
Carriers that have one base or more must provide parking spaces for at least a third of all their vehicles.
A carrier owning two vehicles must provide at least one parking space.
Also from 2023, a new obligation for entrepreneurial transport operators comes into force.
You must submit information by March 31:
- A statement of the number of employees involved in operations in the year preceding the obligation to testify as of December 31.
- Data on the arithmetic mean of the population of drivers involved in transport operations in the year preceding this obligation.
