From February 1, Poland and Belarus stop exchanging quotas for road transport permits for 2023. This was reported in the Association "Transport and Logistics of Poland" (TLP).
However, Polish carriers can still obtain Belarusian permits in the required quantity through the automated system Dozvol. Belarusian permits are necessary for them to carry out the procedure of transfer or reloading in the border zone of the Republic of Belarus. Registration of 1 permit will cost 15 basic units.
At the same time, Belarusian transport companies do not need Polish permits due to the 2022 sanctions prohibiting them from carrying out cargo transportation within the EU.
The ban does not apply to certain types of cargo, namely: humanitarian, pharmaceutical, medical, agricultural and food. But in order to obtain permission, Belarusian carriers must apply to the competent authorities of the EU country to which they are traveling.
